Fifty-one pages for a garage door company in Queens, and a symptom check that answers the first question a caller asks. A visitor says what the door is doing, and gets the parts a technician looks at in order, a plain answer on whether to keep using the door, and a price range at the published prices, both ends printed the same size. For a broken spring or a snapped cable it says stop, and it never gives a step for touching either. Sending it is an enquiry: it lands in an inbox, and nothing is booked.

Demonstration site. Woodside Railwick Garage Doors, LLC is a fictional business invented for this demo — every phone number on it is literally 000-000-0000. The website itself is entirely real and built exactly as yours would be.
Why this design works for a garage door repair and installation
Most garage door sites open with a phone number and a promise of thirty minutes. This design opens with a symptom check instead. It asks what a dispatcher would ask: the kind of door, its width, where the springs are, whether there is an opener and its sensors, and what the door is doing, from a loud bang to an opener that hums. It prints a check-first list in the order a technician works, a plain answer on whether to go on using the door, the few things the opener's own manual asks an owner to check first, never near a spring, and the published prices of everything it could turn out to need. The browser and the server read the same rules, so the range on the screen is the range in the inbox.
The law shaped the check. In New York City every repair at a house is a home improvement contract, with three business days to cancel and no work before they end, so there is no same-day repair, the first visit costs nothing and the repair is a second visit. New York's own opener law makes whoever works on a door test that the opener reverses, so that test ends every list, and an opener without sensors or from before 1993 is priced for replacing. Where the door is right now is asked only when it matters, never kept in the link or the browser, and never written in a mail.
And it explains what the trade usually leaves vague. Springs and cables are where people get hurt, so the site says stop, says why, and gives no steps at all. A repair is taxed and a complete new door or opener is not, line by line. The license page explains what a real company must hold and print. Thirteen pages quote what garage door sites commonly advertise, from 'same-day repair in thirty minutes' to 'lifetime warranty springs', and answer each claim with the rule and its source.
For a bang, a snapped cable, a crooked door or one that dropped, the check says stop using the door and keep everyone out from under it. It never tells anybody how to adjust, unwind or replace a spring or a cable: that is the service a real company sells.
In New York City a repair at a house waits for three business days to cancel. The site explains the one emergency exception, a statement the owner writes by hand, and never collects it.
New York makes anyone who works on a garage door test that the opener reverses. The check puts that test last on every list, and an opener that cannot reverse, or has no sensors, is priced for replacing.
Name, e-mail, telephone, the ZIP code and a visit day. Where the door is right now is asked only when it stops the door, never kept in the link, and left out of every mail. Enquiries are deleted 180 days after the preferred visit day.

Mobile first, not mobile afterthought
Local service searches are overwhelmingly done on phones, so the phone layout is the one we design first and test hardest. Text stays readable without zooming, the phone number stays reachable with a thumb, and nothing needs a horizontal scroll.
Every page, listed
51 indexable pages, each with its own title, description, structured data and a place in the sitemap. That is 51 chances to appear in a search instead of one.
What $500 covers
You get the same structure and design system with your business in it — your name, logo, colours, photographs, services, prices and locations, and every page rewritten for you. Two businesses starting from this design do not end up looking like each other.
Pages you do not need come out. Pages you need that are not there can be added at $90 each. The local SEO — titles, descriptions, structured data and the copy itself — is retargeted from Woodside to wherever you actually work.

Questions
It shouldn't, and this one never does. It has not seen the door. It can say when to stop using it, and it does that for every symptom a spring or a cable could be behind. The visit decides the rest.
Yes, and in New York City it must, in every advertisement. Garage door work at a house is home improvement work under the City's licensing rules. This demonstration is a fictional company, so it holds no license and says why.
On houses in New York City, a repair is a home improvement contract with three business days to cancel and no work before they end, unless the owner writes out the emergency statement the law describes. The site explains that rule rather than promising around it; your own pages can say how you handle a genuine emergency.
Then the openers page names it, describing the opener by its maker's name the way any reseller may. This demonstration is a fictional company that installs nothing, so it names no brand, and no maker's plate appears in any picture.
No. Every picture on this demonstration was generated and says so on the picture. Nobody is shown under a door or near a spring, no opener motor, van or house number appears, and nobody's face is shown. Your own photographs of your own work replace them.
