Forty-nine pages for a residential painter in Queens, and a scope planner that answers the first question every caller has. A visitor counts the rooms, says what is being painted, the state of the walls, the color change, the furniture and the year the home was built, and gets a crew, a range of painter-hours and working days, the gallons the rooms take and a range at the published rate, both ends printed the same size. Homes built before 1978 get the lead-safe time added; a textured ceiling from before 1987 is left out. Sending it is an enquiry: it lands in an inbox, and nothing is booked until the walk-through.

Demonstration site. Woodside Sashbrook Painting, LLC is a fictional business invented for this demo — every phone number on it is literally 000-000-0000. The website itself is entirely real and built exactly as yours would be.
Why this design works for a residential painting contractor
People ask a painter one thing first: what will it cost. Most painting sites answer with a free-estimate form. This design answers with the working. The scope planner asks what a painter asks on a walk-through, room by room, and prints a crew, a range of painter-hours and working days, the gallons of wall paint, ceiling paint and primer the rooms take, and the money at one published rate of $70 a painter-hour. Every figure comes from one set of rules that the browser and the server both read, so the range on the screen and the range in the inbox are the same.
The law shaped the planner. In New York City painting alone needs no home improvement license, but plaster and drywall repair beside it does, so the company paints and prepares and turns repair work away, and the license page explains both sides. Any home built before 1978 is painted lead-safe, and the planner adds that time; when an older apartment is rented or in a building and a young child lives there, the City's lead law applies and the planner stops and says why, without the answer ever leaving the visitor's browser. A textured ceiling from before 1987 can be asbestos work, so it is left out of the range and never removed.
And it explains what the trade usually leaves vague. Repainting is taxable in New York on the whole bill, paint included. A contract over five hundred dollars must be in writing, and the homeowner has three business days to cancel it, so nothing starts before then and no deposit is taken. Eleven pages quote what painting sites commonly advertise, from 'fully licensed and insured' to 'lifetime warranty', and answer each claim with the rule and its source.
One rate, $70 for each painter for each hour, the same every working day. The planner prints the painter-hours as a range in whole hours, the paint by the gallon at its published price, and the tax on the whole bill. Both ends are printed the same size, and nothing is called an estimate.
Before 1978 means lead-safe work: plastic, wet hand preparation, a HEPA clean-up and a cleaning check, all counted as time. Before 1987 means a textured ceiling is left alone. The planner asks the year and does the rest.
Whether a young child lives in an older rented apartment decides whether the City's lead law applies. The planner asks only when it matters, uses the answer to stop, and never sends it: the server is told only that the case was cleared.
Name, e-mail, telephone, the ZIP and a start date. The server recomputes the range from the answers rather than trusting the browser, every enquiry is a new record, and the reply says nothing about any other one. Enquiries are deleted 180 days after the preferred date.

Mobile first, not mobile afterthought
Local service searches are overwhelmingly done on phones, so the phone layout is the one we design first and test hardest. Text stays readable without zooming, the phone number stays reachable with a thumb, and nothing needs a horizontal scroll.
Every page, listed
49 indexable pages, each with its own title, description, structured data and a place in the sitemap. That is 49 chances to appear in a search instead of one.
What $500 covers
You get the same structure and design system with your business in it — your name, logo, colours, photographs, services, prices and locations, and every page rewritten for you. Two businesses starting from this design do not end up looking like each other.
Pages you do not need come out. Pages you need that are not there can be added at $90 each. The local SEO — titles, descriptions, structured data and the copy itself — is retargeted from Woodside to wherever you actually work.

Questions
It shouldn't. A painting price depends on walls nobody has seen, and in New York City a price that cannot be known in advance is advertised differently from one that can. The planner prints a range at your published rate; the walk-through and the written contract come after it.
If you do repair work beside the painting, your Home Improvement Contractor license number has to be in every advertisement, and it goes in the footer. Painting alone needs no City license. This demonstration is a fictional company, so it holds none and says why.
Then your firm certification goes on the site, and the older-homes page says who your certified renovator is. This demonstration cannot hold a certification, so it describes the practice and shows no badge or number.
The planner's arithmetic is rules in one file: painter-hours today, but it can as easily price by the room or by the square foot. What it keeps either way is printing both ends of a range and the reason for each figure.
No. Every picture on this demonstration was generated and says so on the picture. No paint can, color card, ladder or van appears, because each carries a maker's name, and no painter's face is shown. Your own photographs replace them.
